Some have the impression that the church is for those who are very religious or have it all together. Jesus had a different view. He said it is a place where the weary, hurting, and broken can go to find immeasurable grace and lasting peace. At Trinity, we are an imperfect community that believes wholeheartedly in a redeemer who is perfecting all things. This is our hope and our calling.
In the spring of 2019, several families in Collierville/Germantown were encouraged by their church in Memphis to step out in faith. That summer, they began meeting on Sunday evenings with the vision of starting a new church. Soon, a few families and individuals who were new to the area joined this group. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Trinity continued to grow. In 2020, we opened our ministry space/office on Main Street in Collierville near the downtown square. In 2021, the YMCA at Schilling Farms graciously opened their doors to us to begin worship.
